When speaking to friends and associates (warm market) here's what I do:
I call or text message my associates stating,“I'm on to something big! A lot of money is going to come out of it. Give me your e-mail / I'm going to e-mail you the information. I will call you later to make sure you watched it”. Then plug their name and e-mail into the “invite” system in the back office or e-mail them the link to your site directly from your personal e-mail.
The follow-up call is very important.When you do, they will have questions. Here's how you respond:
“I'm still new, and don't have all the answers… I know this company was recently ranked #37 out of the 500 fastest growing companies by Inc500 Magazine; and the team I'm working with has been very successful. I'm going to write down your questions and forward it to them. I'll CC you so they can respond to us both.”
