 Use the invite tool in your back office to let all of your friends, family, and prospects know about this great business opportunity you have discovered. Be sure to follow up with them and discuss what they thought about the opportunity.

Step #3

 Market your GDI business with social networking sites. If you already are using sites like MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter be sure to let of your friends know about the business.

Next, set up a Twitter account dedicated strictly to your GDI business. Find a commonly searched topic and relate it to GDI. Is there a popular TV show that many people would be interested in following? If so, assign your Twitter account to provide quotes, show updates, news, or other related things and with every Tweet simply include your .ws link. People will be drawn to the Twitter account because of the show’s popularity, and this will all be thanks to your .ws link.

Useful Functions:

-Manage multiple Twitter, Facebook, Myspace (etc.) accounts from one application.

-Niche Marketing – Run keyword search to see who’s talking about your main interests (Ex. Search keyword “I need a 2nd job” – All users who post a tweet with that phrase will show up under my search column – I’ll then reply to each of there tweets with something like this: “You don’t need a 2nd job! You need a good opportunity to replace your 1st job”)

-Review and follow everyone that shows up in your search column (“stack”) without having to review each profile.

-Schedule Tweets (posts). Ex: Type and save 10 different posts all at one time, then have them automatically scheduled over a 24hr period.

-Auto-Follow every twitter member that follows you.

-Auto-reply sent to each new follower.

Useful Functions:

-Automatically follow people based on keywords

-Choose multiple keywords (phrases) related to your niche market

-Anyone who posts a tweet including your keyword will automatically be followed (most will follow you back)

-Easy way to follow people with the same interest, and gain new followers.

 How to get followers

1. Day one you can safely follow 500 people
2. Day two you can safely follow 500 people
3. Day three you can safely follow 500 people
4. Day four un-follow everyone who is not following you

Day five start the process all over again (steps 1-4)

*Note- I want to note that Twitter may block your account if you un-follow more than 50 people in one day.

You also have to be aware of the 2000 follow limit. Twitter will not let you follow more than 2000 people, unless you have more than 2000 followers. Once you do, you can start following as many people as you’d like.

 Use the “Auto Follow” device in Twollow.com  You set your “keywords” and your account will automatically follow anyone posting tweets with that keyword (or key phrase).  This is AWESOME because it allows us the advantage of reaching our target market (niche marketing).
 
What happens… Many of the people you begin to follow will follow you back.
 
Here’s something else to consider (reverse psychology)… Many of the Internet Marketers and Network Marketers on twitter are using these same “Keyword-AutoFollow” applications.  So when you’re sending tweets, make some of them Keyword Rich with the keywords for our target market.
 
EX: “Internet Marketing, Network Marketing, and Home Based Businesses are some of the most efficient ways to earn more money“. The phrases in bold are some keyword phrases that many people have selected in their Auto-Follow applications.  So you can gain new followers simply by posting specific words and/or phrases.

Craigslist and GDI

I have exciting news. As of right now, GDI is not very visible on Craigslist. This is great news for us because we can use Craigslist to successfully increase our business while attracting people that are genuinely interested and purposefully seeking out MLM opportunities. I have put together several sections of information that will help each of us as well as everyone in our downline grow our business! If you have any questions with any of this information please let me know and I will do my best to answer them.

Important Facts to Know About Craigslist

1. I would like to stress that everyone on this planet has access to CL (Craigslist). That includes people with not the best intentions so always take all the steps necessary to protect yourself and your identity.
2. Craigslist allows 3 ads per day and each account needs phone verification with a different number for each account. I recommend opening at least 3 accounts
3. Craigslist gets 9 billion views a month!!! Imagine…
4. If you search a few cities you will see that GDI is not all over the place. I have done a few searches and have only found a few.

How to Open a Craigslist Account

1. Go to www. Craigslist. org and open an account. On the top left side of the web page you will see “my account”. Click on “my account”.
2. To open a new account click on “Don’t have an account? Click here to sign up.”
3. Enter your email address and the verification code provided for you.
4. You will be taken to a page that will tell you that a link to your account has been sent to your email. Go to your email and verify your account with Craigslist.
5. You will be prompted to create a password for your account.
6. Once you do this you will have created your Craigslist account.

How to Get Phone Authentication

1. You will be taken to your back office in CL, after you create your password. Go to “Post a New Ad” (found in the top right corner of the page).
2. Click Go
3. Scroll down and click on Service Offered found just below Gig Offered. 
4. Choose the category “small biz ads” (fifth one from the bottom)
5. This is where you will get phone authentication.
6. Click on Go to Phone Authentication
7. You may have to login again with your email and password for your new account.
8. Once you do that simply enter your phone number and select ‘voice’ if you want to receive a voice message or ‘text’ if you want to receive a text message. Select your language of preference also. 
9. Click verify
10. You will receive a message with a 4 or 5 digit number. That is the number you will need to verify your phone number to your account.
11. Enter the verification number you receive in your message and you are done and ready to start posting ads.

 

How to Post an Ad on Craigslist

1. Select your region (state/city).
2. Once you have selected your city, click on ‘small biz ads’ located in the Services section towards the bottom of the page.
3. Once you have clicked on small biz ads, click on Post located on the top right corner of the page.
4. Scroll down and click on small biz ads again.
5. You will be taken to a page where you can post your ad.
6. Enter the subject to your ad (ex. Work From Home, Low Maintenance & 0 Start Up Costs)
7. Specific Location-you can enter a specific location or ‘anywhere’
8. Click on “anonymize” so that your email address will be hidden.
9. Post your ad (ex. If you are looking to work from home, this is your chance to do so with 0 start up costs…) Include the link to your website.
10. Click on ‘continue’ when you are done.
11. You will be taken to a preview where you can continue or edit your ad. If you are satisfied, click on continue. I suggest testing your links before you click on continue.
12. Type the Captcha code after you click on continue.
13. Once you do that you are done! You will receive an email with your ad and it will take about 15 minutes to show up on CL.

 

Tips For Ads

1. If you are going to use the same ads in different locations you will want to slightly alter the Subject and/or the body of the ad. CL won’t allow you to use the exact same ad. You can change a word in the subject and add a line or two in the body of the ad.
2. HTML ads allow you to actually hide your link. This is not necessary but an option. 

 

Resources to Maximize Your Craigslist Experience

1. You can purchase actual phone numbers that can be verified on CL. If you only have 2 phones, this gives you the option to have at the minimum 10 phone numbers which would give you 10 accounts plus the 2 you already have. Go to www.Verifiedcraigslistaccounts.com.
2. CL is very area oriented.  An AWESOME tool is Google Hot Trends   Google Hot Trends allows you to search different regions in the world, states and cities for the areas that are seeking certain topics. In this case, type in MLM and you will see a list of regions. You can click on any of them and it will take you to the top 10 locations. For example, US will give you the top 10 states and the top 10 cities. THESE are the ones you want to target. However, you can target any city in the country or around the world.
3. As of right now, we have the opportunity to use CL and really make an impact all the way around if we follow their guidelines and do not abuse the freedom we have to grow our business through Craigslist.
4. For those who are not HTML savvy (like me!) there is free software that will do it for you! Go to www.net2.com 

 

How To Use Nvu (HTML software)

1. Type in ad and customize it however you want (fonts, colors, etc.)
2. Go to source tab on bottom
3. Highlight all of it
4. Copy it
5. Go to CL ad and paste it
