Week 3: Blogging and Twitter- Global Domains International GDI

The Real Global Domains International GDI, the MLM work at home business opportunity.

It was in the beginning of my week 3 with Global Domains International GDI when I made the final decision to start this blog. I was hesitant because I had never done a blog before but I really did want to let the world know about the good, the bad, and the ugly of Global Domains International GDI.

I did a lot of research and decided that WordPress would suit my needs the best for my Global Domains International GDI blog. I still had no idea how to set it up so I used the free services provided by expertwordpress.com. I registered my domain name with nomessdns.com and had it hosted with hostgator.com. After following expertwordpresses short videos I was up and blogging in no time.

I intend on using this Global Domains International GDI blog for several reasons:

  1. To help others like me who were overcome with sites who offer to help “for a price.”
  2. To spread the word about Global Domains International GDI and the excellent home based business opportunity that I believe it offers.
  3. To help my Global Domains International GDI team members with tips and advice on how to increase their downlines.
  4. To see what marketing methods do and don’t work for expanding my Global Domains International GDI downline
  5. To provide others with the chance to provide comments so they can share even more Global Domains International GDI related tips and techniques

I am still new to the blogging world so this is a learning process for me. I am open to any suggestions so please feel free to leave comments.

While all of this was going on I was still rocking away with my Twitter accounts (businessquote, richdadquotes, twilightquote). I hit my first speed bump in week 3 when I hit the Twitter 2000 follower limit. (I didn’t know there was one) Twitter prevents you from following more than 2000 people. The key to getting over this is to have more that 2000 people following you, and then you can start following again. My Twitter tip here is to make sure you follow closely who does not auto-follow you back. I had to go through my list and unfollow everyone who was not following me. Now, I can follow more people again. I will approach the 2000 limit more slowly this time and hopefully I can get over the 2000 hump easily.

This is the only blog I’ve ever read all topics from beginning to end. I don’t know much about blogs, but I know this was an excellent read. I enjoy the timeline format… makes me eager to learn what’s coming next. It is also very informative. Keep it coming!

Another helpful site when using Twitter is http://friendorfollow.com. When you put in your twitter username, it shows you who you are following but is not following you, who is following you but you are not following, and who are following and is following you back. Very helpful site.
